Fashion Break {Utah Fashion Photographer}

I can't even tell you how much I want to work on the gazillions of fashion shoots I have piling up behind my priority shoots! Don't get me wrong, I love the bridals, babies, etc., but I have some fashion shoots waiting from like a year ago to be edited! So tonight I took a little fashion break. I'm excited about the rest of this shoot, but for now, enjoy this little preview :)

Me and Hans {Utah Portrait Photographer}

So this was my first attempt at tripod self-portraits :) I honestly thought the focusing would be the hard part, but it was actually the art directing! It's much harder to be in front of a camera without someone behind it, because there's no one there to say, "move your hand here," "tilt this way," or "your face looks funny." It's all just trial and error. And since there's a lot more effort involved, running back and forth from the camera to check what the photos look like, there's a lot less desire to take multiple photos :D So I guess this is one I'll just have to practice on for future family photo shoots!
